For those of you unable to run Avidemux 2.5.6 on OSX you can try running Avidemux 2.5.4 on Yosemite and Lion thanks to some instructions from Way over at Glichet. Go to the Avidemux 2.5.4 binary archive here; Download avidemux22.5.4intel.dmg; Unpack it and then drag avidemux2 to your Applications folder.
