The pages in this section give additional details about each binary package available as well as more direct download links. In addition, you can download source tarballs and pgAgent for your servers to enable additional functionality. PgAdmin 4 is a complete rewrite of pgAdmin, built using Python and Javascript/jQuery. PgAdmin is an open source and development platform for PostgreSQL. This technology enables users for viewing, browsing, querying and developing complex PostgreSQL objects. Also, it includes a query mechanism with color syntax highlighting, graphical query plan display and procedural language debugger. It is recommended that you download pgAdmin 4 instead. PgAdmin is available for Windows™ 2000 and above, up to version 1.14.3. From v1.16.0, Windows XP/2003 or later is required, and from 1.20.0, Windows Vista/2008 is required. Note that the EnterpriseDB distribution of PostgreSQL for Windows includes a bundled copy of pgAdmin.
The pgAdmin Development Team are proud to announce the release of pgAdmin III v1.2.0. This is a major new release of pgAdmin following a year of development work by various contributors.
